On your left, the PC. On your right, the TV ; Between them, an empty space, which Storex’s MyTV Box, a small HD multimedia gateway weighing 600 grams will be happy to fill, enabling them to communicate. The benefit is to take advantage of your multimedia files in your lounge or room.
MyTV Box is a network solution (Ethernet, WIFI N are optional) 1080p—24 directly connectable to your TV in order to read your multimedia files (videos, music and photos) stored on your PC or on a NAS UPnPAV server. Connected to the internet, take advantage of a great variety of online services from your sofa: YouTube videos, Picasa, BitTorrent… USB 2.0 plugs, in “Host” version, allow it to recognize the different connected storage formats (keys, hard drives, cameras).
And there again, MyTV Box does its training: It reads MKV H.264 files, HD XviD DviX , HD MPEG2, HD WMV 9, M2TS, Real HD, decodes from MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC, … in addition to recognizing playlists in M3U format. The image part is also complete, with Jpeg, GIF, BMP, and PNG recognition.
